The Process – DEViATE Dance

We believe dancers are best served when they are fully immersed in a real-world, training experience in order to test their limits, hone their unique skills and develop their artistry and technique. DEViATE Dance aims to create these experiences, within a nurturing environment, by challenging the conventional ways to better prepare dancers to Go In and Stand Out.

The way that our kids come back to the studio like they had revival at church is why this convention gets a 10. They leave wanting more and feeling fed, some conventions just drain the passion. Thank you!

Long days of being fully immersed in dancing; to include audition labs where they actually write feedback down live (dancers receive it at end). Where else can you attend large event and get feedback directed to you??? @deviatedance

This weekend was unlike any other dance weekends ever experienced before. While these pics are from the SLAYING her solo in the competition – that was a small part of it. Overall, she gained so much from the weekend.

@deviatedance did not disappoint!! I loved taking from so many amazing and talented people that I have never took from before.

Days 2-3 @deviatedance brought the energy, joy, and professionalism of dance to DC. Thank you for the amazing weekend for our dancers! Special Thanks to @ntbad and @dyl319 for creating this safe space for making art and taking risks.❤️
