Opening doors and giving young dancers real world dance experiences are passions of ours. Deviate Assistants and Apprentices are invited to NYC to dance alongside professional dancers, in a project Directed and Choreographed by one of our professional Choreographers.
The Pro Experience 2024
The Pro Experience 2024 will be held in New York City, July 9-12. Opening doors and giving young dancers real world dance experiences are passions of ours. Dancers are invited to NYC for a training experience unlike anything else. All dancers will receive the following:
- 4 days
- 13+ hours of class
- 9+ hours rehearsal
- Dance film shoot Directed and Choreographed by one of our professional Choreographers
- Ages 9-19 (split into 2 levels)
- Price: $885

The Pro Experience is an invite only event. Below are criteria for dancers to be selected:
STANDOUTS from The Process events are automatically accepted and are not required to submit a video.. (2023 STANDOUTS and 2024 STANDOUTS are eligible). Dancers must participate in the Audition Lab in order to be selected as a STANDOUT.
Director’s Award recipients from 2023 and 2024 In-house events are automatically accepted and are not required to submit a video.
Deviate Assistants and Apprentices are automatically accepted and are not required to submit a video.
Video submission criteria:
- Maximum 5 minutes
- An abbreviated ballet barre: One combo that shows plies, tendus, rond de jambes, développes, and battements
- A jazz across the floor combo
- A short (2-4 eight counts) hip-hop and contemporary combo
- Upload video to DropBox, YouTube, or similar site, and include link to video the registration questionnaire
- All dancers must submit the questionnaire, even if you qualify to be automatically accepted.
- Acceptance emails will be sent on or before April 20, 2024
- Upon acceptance, a 50% deposit is required to officially reserve your spot
